Next Steps
Iberdrola Australia submitted the Kingswood Battery’s Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) in July 2024 following community consultation and engagement as well as a series of technical and environmental studies.
The EIS exhibition closed on 15 August 2024.
All submissions for the proposed Kingswood Battery project can be viewed on the NSW Government Major Projects portal.
Iberdrola Australia will prepare a Response to Submissions Report, addressing all issues that were raised during the EIS consultation period. Iberdrola Australia will carefully consider all submissions and respond to the issues that were raised in this Response to Submissions Report.
Once received by the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure, the Response to Submissions Report will be published on the Major Projects website.
